Training Opportunities:

The counseling center has training opportunities for both undergraduates and graduate students interesting in the field of psychology and university counseling related activities.

For graduate students completing their doctorate degree in psychology, counseling psychology or related fields, we offer a comprehensive predoctoral internship training program in counseling psychology at a university setting. 

For undergraduate students interested in the field of psychology and wanting hands on experience in psychology and counseling services, we provide the opportunity to participate as a Biofeedback Technician or as a StressBusters Peer Educator.  

Counselors may also serve as adjunct faculty in the Psychology Department. For those students taking Psyc 198G there is a listing for pre-approved internship sites in Riverside, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
