Dear Prospective Psychology Intern:
The Counseling Center at UCR and Division of Student Affairs is pleased to offer a 12 month APPIC predoctoral internship in professional psychology. Our internship provides a diverse array of experiences that includes individual, group, and couples counseling within a brief therapy model. Interns also have opportunities and are encouraged to participate in outreach, program development, and consultation. All internship experiences are supervised by licensed professional staff, and the internship year is viewed as an opportunity to begin the transition from psychologists in training to practicing professionals.
