RELATIONSHIP GROUP
Want to make changes to your interpersonal style?
Many of the reasons that people seek help with their personal problems are in part due to their relationships with others. Group therapy is a highly effective way to learn about and make changes in your interpersonal style. Group members, once trust is developed, are able to give and receive feedback on interpersonal patterns which may interfere with communication and closeness to others. The group can offer alternatives and provide support while the individual tries news ways of relating to others. In the climate of trust provided by the group, members learn to care about and help each other.
The Counseling Center offers general interactional groups throughout the academic year.
