Counseling services and consultation are available on an appointment or walk-in basis. The Counseling Center staff provide immediate services to individuals in crisis, and use knowledge of campus and community resources to make appropriate referrals. In addition, the Counseling Center has the responsibility of assisting the campus with the psychological needs stemming from any significant disaster or traumatic event. Crisis intervention services are available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. After hours, call Campus Police (827-5222).

Counselors can conduct presentations to help educate others about how to cope with the aftermath of a tragic event.

Literature describing healthy coping skills and resources can be picked up at the center or distributed to campus departments or organizations.
