The Mission / Culture of the Counseling Center at UCR


  • The Counseling Center at UCR’s team is dedicated to creating a positive, healthy atmosphere for our student population, working hand-in-hand with students to provide an environment which promotes their academic, career, personal and social development. Our commitment is to help each student have a rewarding experience at UCR.


  • Consistent with the teaching, research and social mission of UCR, the Counseling Center provides specialized psychological services designed to support the educational process of a culturally diverse campus.


  • Foremost, we strive to have a "welcoming atmosphere" and are always looking for ways to enhance services to the students and campus community.
